Collar lampshade draws inspiration from Spanish Baroque and Jacobean garments. I redesigned the structure of the classic medieval ruff collar to create a modern design piece. Comprising seven elements linked by aluminum bead "cuffs," the lampshade features a glass sphere at its core, which supports the collar structure and evenly diffuses light. It’s made from washable paper or polypropylene sheets, all held together by pairs of glass or aluminum beads on a metal thread.
