The collection, Ikebana, takes its name from the Japanese art of flower arrangement, meaning “keeping flowers alive.” Inspired by the symbolic nature of flowers, the collection explores the relationship and the contrasts between natural beauty and digital distortion. The creative process begins with photographs taken in Budapest’s botanical gardens. By digitally altering the flowers’ colours, textures, and environments and rearraning them into new compositions, the designs experiment with how these flowers traditional symbolism shift, allowing space for new, more personal interpretations beyond commonly accepted meanings.

Digital prints on 100% silk.
