Refraction is a collection born from the transformation of discarded materials into digital artworks. Created manually using a scanner, the process acts as a bridge between the analogue and digital worlds, translating the physical qualities of found objects into intricate visual compositions. Appliance parts, paint, textiles, cables, barcodes, and other overlooked materials are rearranged and illuminated, revealing unexpected textures, patterns, and meanings.
